When you delete your account, the following will be permanently deleted:
- Your profile information and account data
- Family trees you created
- All posts and photos from family trees you own
- Posts and comments you shared
- Your friend connections
📌 Important Information
- Comments and photos you posted in family trees you joined will not be deleted, they will be anonymized (Deleted User)
- If you have photos you want to delete, first delete them from the family trees you joined.
- During the deletion process, your Profile and Family Trees will be inaccessible.
- Only your posts will be visible to your friends.
- The deletion process may take up to 30 days.
💡 If You Change Your Mind
You can cancel your deletion request within the first 15 days. Log in to the app and go to Settings > Delete Account to cancel the process.

After submitting the deletion request, a verification link will be sent to your email address. The deletion process will begin after you complete the verification.

Can I deactivate my account instead of deleting it?
Currently, we do not have an account deactivation feature. Before deleting your account, you can protect your data by logging out of the app.
How long does the deletion process take?
After completing the verification process, a 30-day waiting period begins. You can cancel the process within 15 days if you change your mind.
Can I recover my deleted account?
No, account deletion is irreversible. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
