Zero Tolerance Policy
Treegram implements a zero tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE/CSAM).
Any content or behavior targeting, abusing, or exploiting children is strictly prohibited on our platform.
Age Limit and Verification
You must be at least 16 years old to use Treegram.
Date of birth information is collected during registration and age verification is performed. Accounts of users found to be under 16 years of age will be terminated and related data will be deleted.
Parents or guardians who discover that a child under 16 is using the platform can immediately report to info@treegram.app.
Our Policy
- Accounts that abuse, exploit children, or share such content within the application will be permanently terminated.
- Suspicious content and behavior may be reported to relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Users can report child safety violations through the application or via the contact address below.
- All reports are taken seriously and investigated immediately.
Children's Information in Trees
In the tree feature, adult users can add children's information (name, date of birth) as family members. This information:
- Is only visible to tree members
- Is entered by adult users
- Can be edited or deleted at any time
- Does not appear in public profile searches
Children's information added to trees is kept separate from the platform's social features and is only used in the context of the tree.
Platform Features and Child Safety
This policy applies to user-generated content across all Treegram features:
- Direct Messaging (DM): Messaging is only possible between registered users aged 16 and over. Users who send disturbing messages can be blocked and reported.
- Posts and Comments: All posts, comments, and profile content can be reported; content violating the rules is removed.
- Family Tree Media: Photos uploaded to trees are only visible to tree members and can be reported.
- Polls, Events, and Life Timeline: Content in these features is limited to tree members and is subject to the same moderation rules.
Our zero tolerance policy applies to content and behavior targeting or abusing children in all of the areas above.
Reporting and Notification
If you see any content or behavior that threatens child safety:
- Within the app: Report the content or user using the "Report" option
- Via email: Report with detailed information to the address below
Legal Compliance
Treegram fully complies with national and international laws for the protection of children. We cooperate with law enforcement and competent authorities when necessary.
When child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is detected, the content is immediately removed, the related account is permanently terminated, and reports may be made to competent authorities and relevant reporting centers in accordance with applicable law.
